Taco Jalisco does a great job of showcasing a variety of meats you can try out, including tripe (beef intestines) and lengua (ox tongue). Great spot in Alexandria if you are craving Mexican.

A low-key Mexican restaurant that has waves of traffic drawing folks for their close to authentic cuisine. Another menu item that can often get overlooked is the torta (regular)---think of it as a burrito personality in a freshly grilled bread outfit, very comforting

This is best type of fries - smothered in guacamole, sour cream, tomato, cheese, and beef, SO much flavor and pretty juicy. I would highly recommend this as a snack for guests especially during game night.

This is one of the best burritos ever. The combination is like the carne asada wrapped in a tortilla and is also just as juicy and flavourful.

Best advice here is to order one of each of the tacos. They have several options but the ox tongue in particular has a great depth of taste.
